My life can only be described as chaotic.  It begins early, ends late and I am constantly moving and doing things in between.  My hats are many; mother, daughter, friend, employee, student, coach, runner, volunteer and entrepreneur.  But there is nothing special or unique about this.  Most of the people I know are busy at work and at home and never have enough time to do all the things they want to do.  While I wish I could squeeze another hour or two out of each day, I have come to accept two things.  The first is that this chaos is my own creation and I can undo most of it at any time if I choose to.   The second is that I thrive on my creation and am grateful for it.  It is in this realization that I found the inspiration for this blog.

The purpose of this blog is to share the people, things and experiences I am grateful for and how this gratitude and acceptance brings me more of what I want in my life.  I am also here to inspire others. People like you who want to live a healthy, peaceful and meaningful life, despite being completely in over your head!

If something inspires you or you have a story to share, feel free to post your comments or start a discussion. If you want to learn more about living your best life, check out the Body and Mind tabs for information on the programs I offer.

Love that you are doing this 🙂
yes….life gets crazy ….but when you stop and breatheeeeee you find that being right where you are ….right in that moment ….is all there is. Even though we have a list as long as our arm….all we have is that…. moment…. right…. now.
Just like in labour….breathing into that very moment….

I look forward to reading and keeping up with you and your gorgeous family

You are so right Cindy and of course your wisdom on the topic has allowed you to be an amazing support for women to do something that in the moment, they physically feel they cannot! I know I am forever grateful for everything you gave me and believe me, it was more than just labour coaching! Sometimes I do think however, that it is easier to appreciate and be present in those remarkable moments, even the painful ones (like labour!) because they are extraordinary. What is a greater challenge is to appreciate and be present for the more ordinary aspects of our lives. The routine, the mundane and the everyday.

      Thanks for being here!

Thank-you so much for your comments and for always being such an amazing friend and support! I have always felt that you were and still are right there with me despite the miles between us. It made me think back to the days of supporting each other through sleepless nights via email and how that feeling of ‘being in it together’ helped me keep going. I am so grateful for that and for you!

      Love,
      Melanie

Thank-you so much Jen! We are grateful for having you in our lives and I am so appreciative of the easy way we can just pour into a couch for an evening and feeling like no time has passed. I am always in awe of how you keep all the balls in the air and still make time for the smallest of details to make everyone feel loved, accepted and welcome! You’re amazing!!

      Love,
      Melanie
