Today I am having a ‘me’ day.  Meaning I am doing whatever I feel like doing, when I feel like doing it and only what is necessary for survival.  As you might imagine (and most of you can probably relate to) for someone whose days are usually very hectic it feels a bit strange to slow down without being sick!  But, it is now 12:40 and all I have done is drink coffee, text and talk to friends and family, read my book and make pancakes for my kids.  So far, so good!

During my reading, I came upon this simple affirmation and wanted to share it.

“I can be whatever I will to be.” ~ Charles F. Haanel

Say this to yourself as often as you can remember to do so and I promise you will have a really hard time blaming others for what you experience.  It reminds us that we are in control of our lives.  Like choosing to have a ‘me’ day every now and then!

Enjoy your Sunday!

With thanks,

Me Day

Enjoy your day Melanie! You so deserve it. I love this saying: “The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time”.

Hope you had a great day Melanie and got to enjoy “me” time. Deserved and yet so few of them. Makes you treasure them even more 🙂
